Scholarships are a great way to support students who wish to attend the academy but may not have the financial means to do so. Scholarships can cover a portion of tuition costs, and can be a valuable resource for leaners pursuing their dreams as a fashion pioneer. We have collated a list of available scholarships on the page below.
In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, JCA is offering 3 scholarships to students in China, India and Thailand, applying for Postgraduate courses in fashion.
Leverhulme award bursaries of up to £3,000 a year for UK university students, who are in financial need and have a parent or spouse that is employed as a commercial traveller, pharmacist or grocer.

15 Postgrad Solutions Study Bursaries for 2024 worth £500 each towards postgraduate studies are available for the upcoming academic year – and every postgraduate student is eligible to apply whatever their subject choice and whether they are studying full time, part time, online or via blended learning.
The closing date for all entries is Friday 30th September 2024
Applications for 2024 are open
- You must have applied (or will apply) for a Master's-level degree starting the Fall 2024.
- The degree program must be studied either within Europe or online via distance learning from a European institute. You must meet the entry requirements for the university or graduate school, including: holding a valid undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree and meeting language requirements for the program
If you are a student and you have disability-related costs that are not covered by statutory funding, you can apply for a grant to help you meet these additional expenses.
The Snowdon Masters Scholarships have been created to identify and accelerate exceptional disabled individuals through higher education. If you think you have the ability to be a leader in your field you can apply for up to £30,000 towards your Masters fees and living expenses while studying.
Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) is support to cover the study-related costs you have because of a mental health problem, long-term illness or any other disability.
FIND OUT MOREStudents who are disabled but not entitled to receive DSAs are more likely to be awarded a grant. Students can apply for assistance in purchasing e.g. educational aids such as specialist computer equipment, extra travel costs, special chairs or other aids and the cost of note-takers or signers.
Deadlines for applications are 1 March, 1 June, and 1 November. It takes about a month after the deadline to finalise awards.
The Student Disability Assistance Fund is run by the British Association of Health Services for Students in Higher Education (BAHSHE).
It provides financial support for the purchase educational aids such as specialist computer equipment, extra travel coats or support.
Applications are considered three times a year, on the first day of November, March and June.
